C.R.A.P. is an important and useful (easy to remember) acronym for web design. Contrast helps the audience quickly see items and their importance. Contrast especially can make things on a web page more appealing. Repetition is a good tool because it allows the viewer to already know where things will be on a different page or how it will be set up. Alignment is an obvious key to a successful site. If you align everything differently it will confuse a viewer and that’s not what you want to be doing. Proximity is also very important because it lets the reader see connection between objects, and gives reason to put things in certain places instead of at random. So to make a good looking webpage be sure to have C.R.A.P. on your mind.
